We have just updated our Insects, Mammal Fungi and Plant stock lists. These are available as PDF files which can be downloaded, viewed and printed from our stock list links.
We have changed our company name. A fact that you may not be aware of is that we have traded under the name Bloomfield Photography although all our work is copyrighted as M & J Bloomfield.
This all came about because when we started our partnership; we started trading as Bloomfield Photography. Then when we started selling images and users wanted to use our names in the acknowledgements because this was easier for copyright issues. And so we have worked this way for a long time. Recently we have been reviewing the business and we came to the conclusion that it was time change our trading name to M&J Bloomfield.
Hence the name change from now on we are trading as M&J Bloomfield. How will this affect you if you are doing business with us? Not at all; unless you are writing us a cheque. All you need to do is to make it payable to M&J Bloomfield rather than Bloomfield Photography. It is as simple as that. Everything stays the same, email, website and physical addresses are all the same as are the telephone numbers.
Just recently we have made some changes to the "look and feel" of the website. We have a new picture gallery on the home page. This will make reading the pages easier.
Have a look round the website, we always welcome you comments. You can email us admin@mandjbloomfield.com

Due to the reduced number of tourists visiting Kenya this year, the Kenya Wildlife Service will have a funding shortfall this is going to affect its anti poaching and compensation budgets. Without money for patrols and to compensate farmers it will inevitably result in greater losses of our precious wildlife. Losses that may not be sustainable.
So if you are thinking of a safari, you can do your bit for wildlife conservation as well as having a great holiday, by visiting Kenya.
There is no better time to go and there are some great deals to be had. One of the best safari operators for seeing game is Freeman Safaris, these are the people we use when visiting Kenya.
We have been making some small changes to the website, as part of our efforts to continually improve the site. The gallery pages have changed quite a lot; we have brought new software that that is used to produce them. We have also added some more images to the ones displayed on the home page. Oh and not forgetting that March has been added to ¨A photographer‘s calendar ¨ .
This being a leap year we have published February's calendar on the last day on the month rather than on the first of the next month. We hope that you enjoy reading about what we have been up to in February.

Bovney Lock, Windsor and Cookham Moor were our venues for photographing this ancient old custom. Despite the wind and rain showers, we were able to get some good images of the boatman rowing down the Thames and at Cookham we were able to photographing them checking and ringing a pair of swans and their signet.
