Forgotten your Password

4 Jan , 2016

How important are passwords to our day. No matter what you want to do on the web today you need to login. To provide some protection, against those who want to rob you blind, you need to pick a strong password. So strong in fact that you certainly won’t remember it the next time you want to login. After a couple of login fails the temptation is to go back to the old favourites “qwertyui”, “zxcvbnm” or of course “password” the problem is these are not as secure as you think.

One answer is to use a Password Manager and that is the subject of our blog. We have tried a number of ways of storing our passwords, including writing them down and storing them in a safe, which does work. That was until we found 1Password from https://agilebits.com/. It has revolutionised our online lives.

1Password is available for most platforms Mac, Windows, iOS and Android. Combine it with a Dropbox account and you can sync all your passwords onto all your devices. And it doesn’t stop there not only can you have all your passwords to hand but 1Password also lets you create secure notes. These notes are great when you are traveling passport information serial numbers of all your equipment are available on your laptop, iPad and smart phone.

If you don’t have a Password Manager at the moment or even if you do you should check our 1Password and its features, it will save you so much time and give you peace of mind too.

    Hi Mark,

I’m Eva and I work for AgileBits, the makers of 1Password.

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to educate your readers on the importance of password managers and for featuring 1Password specifically!

In this day and age, it is so important that we all use strong and unique passwords for every site that we visit, and password managers can help make it much more convenient to be secure.

    Keep sharing the secure word!

      Hi Eva
Thank you for your comment. We have been using 1Password for a number of years now and couldn’t live or work without it. We use it every day and it just works.
